Volunteer Drop In Group Helper Requirements

Volunteers are required to help with our Monday Drop In Group which takes place every Monday from 10.00am - 12.00pm.

The Monday Drop In Group provides opportunities for older people with a visual impairment to socialise together and take part in activities and occassional trips out.  Volunteers would be required to attend the group and help as required, this could involve serving drinks, chatting with attendees or supporting with activities. 

Volunteers Drop In Group Helpers need to have a friendly, helpful and caring manner and be reliable.

We are thrilled to have welcomed a number of new attendees to this group recently and in future there may be need to establish an additional, similar group at an alternative time in the week - possibly Tuesdays - to cater for demand.  Volunteers may also, therefore, be required in future.

Visiting speakers are also welcome at the group so if you have a hobby, skill or interest that you would like to share with the group please contact the centre on 024 7671 7522.
