£5000 received from the Coventry General Charities

On 21st May 2019, we received £5000 from the Coventry General Charities which will go towards the purchase of a new minibus at CRCB.

This grant will make a huge difference to how our service users access CRCB.

Grant of £750 received from Baron Davenport's Charity 

On 21st May 2019, we received grant of £750 from Baron Davenport's Charity to support activities at our Monday Club such as visits from guest speakers. 

Trustee Manager Rosie Brady has said:

Major Award from the Warwickshire Province of the Freemasons

On the 12th March 2019, the Warwickshire Province of the Freemasons has awarded a major grant to Coventry Resource Centre for the Blind to help its running costs for the next two years. The grant is for £10,000 over two years and comes through the Masonic Charitable Foundation.

CRCB General Manager Hugh Sorrill said:

“We are tremendously grateful to the Warwickshire Province and the MCF for their generous grant. We are in a great period of growth and change following the acquisition of Boston Lodge last year, but we also need to keep our core services running. These funds will really help us keep a steady ship over the next couple of years.”

Provincial Grand Master David Macey said:

“We are very pleased to be able to help Coventry Resource Centre for the Blind who do such an outstanding job visually impaired people in Coventry.”
