Coventry Building Society's Day in the Community

On Wednesday 7th September Coventry Building Society's Resource Planning and Duty teams came to tidy up our garden. They worked extremely hard all day, clearing part of the garden to improve wheelchair access, taking down two sheds and assembling a new shed.

We really appreciate your help - thank you for the difference you have made.

Braving the shave for CRCB

Our session leader of the Allotment Club, Jenny Roberts, decided to shave off her hair for charity. Jenny's hair went to the charity Little Princess and donations were given to CRCB and Macmillan Cancer Support.

This generous, brave gesture is certainly a fundraising highlight of 2016. Thank you Jenny!

Coventry Charity Football Cup

On Saturday 2nd July CRCB were one of the many charities invited to the Coventry Charity Football Cup at the Sphinx Social Club. It was a fantastically well organised event full of entertainment. Thank you to those of you that made it!

Walkathon 2016...a la costa de Tenerife!

While our Coventry walkers were completing the Coventry Walkathon 2016 at the War Memorial Park, on Sunday 15th May Trustee Rosie Brady and a group of friends did not let their holiday get in the way of taking part. In 28 degree heat, seven walkers completed the walk along the coast of Tenerife in aid of CRCB. Thank you to everyone who took part!

Coventry Walkathon 2016

On Sunday 15th May at the Coventry War Memorial Park, a group of walkers from CRCB completed Coventry Walkathon 2016, organised by the Leofric Lions, raising a fantastic amount for the Resource Centre. We are also proud to announce that the winner of First Prize for Costume was the Resource Centre's very own Edwina Millis. Thank you very much to all those who have donated; we really appreciate your support.

Charity Dinner and Promises Auction

On Friday 22nd April at Christ the King Parish Centre, we held a very successful evening, raising lots of money for Resource Centre funds.  Among great company, fantastic entertainment was enjoyed by all. Many thanks to Brody Swain, of BBC Cov & Warwickshire Radio, for being an extremely motivational auctioneer. Also many thanks to Chris Norman & Matthew Horspool of Last Train Home for a brilliant set, and to everyone else who helped, or who dug deep into their pockets to spend so generously on the promises.
