Winter Warmer 2016

A vibrant, fun day enjoyed by the local community and friends of CRCB

On Saturday 3rd December we celebrated our annual Winter Warmer at CRCB. We were delighted to see so many familiar faces and new faces enjoying themselves. We are excited to announce that we raised a phenomenal £1138.

At the entrance to CRCB, Chris Norman entertained our visitors, and people passing by, with a medly of well-known songs. He later joined forces with Receptionist Heather Cooper and sang Christmas hits to friends of CRCB and the Earlsdon locals.

Meanwhile, the Mary Beale room at the back of CRCB was full of people enjoying the craft stalls. Our own Craft Group had a beautiful stall and managed to make around £200 for CRCB! They always put fabulous work into our events and the Winter Warmer was no exception.

The cafe was also buzzing with people, enjoying pork & stuffing batches, tea, coffee and mulled wine!

Last but far from least, people of all ages visited Santa in his Grotto - from children excited about getting a present, to adults coming in for a chat with a friendly, bearded face, everybody paid this special guest a visit. It was our very own Miracle on Earlsdon Avenue South...

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to our Winter Warmer. Thank you to everyone who had a stall or volunteered; we really appraciate your support and kind gestures.

See you at our next event! For now...ho ho ho! Merry Christmas.
