From November 2018 to May 2019, Coventry Samaritans were based in Boston Lodge, the newly acquired building on the premises of CRCB
The Samaritans were in need of a temporary base, while their office on Moor Street, Earlsdon, underwent renovations. The team stayed in Boston Lodge for around seven months. We were delighted to help out our neighboring charity.
We recently received a wonderful thank you message from the Samaritans:
"A massive THANK YOU to you all for allowing us to use the space in Boston Lodge over the last few months whilst the building work was carried out on our home at Moor St. Because of your generosity we were able to continue providing a service for our users and I’m pleased to say that we took 12,000 contacts whilst in Boston Lodge. That’s approximately 100 calls a day. We could never have maintained this level of service without your generosity and assistance. Our heartfelt thanks to everyone at Coventry Resource Centre for the Blind for making us feel so at home. "
We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at CRCB and to know the positive impact that the temporary relocation has had on the delivery of your service. We appreciate your charity's invaluable work and we are glad you were able to continue your work, while here at CRCB.
