"Not" The Donkey Derby

No Donkey Derby but plenty of fun and lots of happy donkeys!

On Sunday 1st September, Coventry Leofric Lions held their annual Donkey Derby for the 51st year, except this time there were no donkeys racing. The War Memorial Park was full of stalls and activities for the whole fmaily, including donkeys to pet and ride in a calm environment.

CRCB had a stall selling second-hand goods and, of course, a tombola! Chris and Claire Norman played a brilliant set in front of our stall; they are a fantastically talented duo and couple. We were lucky to have them there to entertain us and the everyone who visited our stall.

Thanks to everyone who supported us, we raised over £330 for CRCB. We are extremely pleased with this result and appreciate everyone who took the time to visit our stall and have a chat.

A big thank you to the Leofric Lions for organising such a superb event and for the amazing work you do for local and national charities.

We hope you all had as much fun as we did!
