On Thursday 28th February, CRCB presented our latest fundraising event: Beat the Blues
Lots of new faces and friends of CRCB joined us at the Standard Triumph Club for a night of cracking entertainment. We were delighted to introduce an array of brilliant performers, some with experience and some complete beginners!
The audience sang along to music from CRCB Music Group Visibly Sound:
We also had a special performance from brand new band Toad And The Holes:
One of our wonderful volunteers Nadia performed a tremendous flute recital and our receptionist Heather Cooper and minibus driver Mick Coleman played a fantastic set too.
The night was filled with exciting new writing from service user and member of the Creative Writing Group, Peggy Bloom and service user and member of the Music Group and Creative Writing Group Lynda Hall performed a beautiful set of songs.
It gives us great pleasure to announce that we raised a grand total of £504 for CRCB!
Thank you to everyone who came along to perform, to have fun and to show your support - we really wouldn't have had such a successful evening without you all!
We're already looking forward to our next fundraiser. See you there!
