CRCB receives £1000 gift from The National Lottery
We are delighted to have been awarded £1000 from The National Lottery towards our campaign to buy a new minibus. The awards are to celebrate The National Lottery's 25th Birthday and are given to vital projects which are bringing communities together.
General Manager Hugh Sorrill says: 'It's great news for our charity! Our minibuses, with our fantastic group of volunteer drivers, allow us to bring together more than 120 sight-impaired adults from all across the city every week! Helping people travel safely means they can access the specialist support we provide and can connect with other people living with sight loss. This is key to our aim of reducing the terrible isolation that many people experience when they are losing their sight and are no longer able to get out on their own. We are incredibly grateful for #CelebrateNationalLottery25's support.'
We would like to thank The National Lottery once again for their support which will transform the lives of blind and partially sighted people in Coventry.
